Alloy Yachts deliver 47-meter "Loretta Anne"
Alloy Yachts just delivered its largest motor yacht, the 47-meter "Loretta Anne" to their owner. Loretta Anne was built for a repeat client to Alloy. The new 47-meter yacht is the result of successful collaboration between Donald Starkey, responsible for the interior and Dubois Naval Architects, the designers.
Loretta Anne has the following classification; Lloyds Register of Shipping, *100 A1 SSC, Yacht Mono, G6, MCH, & LY2. Below decks, a pair of Caterpillar C32 'D' rated 1600 horse power engines propel her through the water.
On the inside, accommodation for guests is set out with the owner’s stateroom on the forward end of the main deck. Additionally, three double cabins host guests on the lower deck. There is the possibility of a fourth convertible cabin that is fitted out as a gymnasium...
EP148 "Polaris" nearing completion
Horizon recently launched and successfully sea tried the new EP148 Horizon "Polaris", which is the largest flagship built by Horizon as well as the largest BV Ice classed private yacht built in Asia. Measuring 148 feet in length, Polaris is built for any cruising destination with a steel hull, aluminum superstructure and bulbous bow, and her innovative design is the result of the collaborative efforts of the Horizon R&D team; U.S. designer J.C. Espinosa, and interior design consultant Birgit Schannese of Germany.

Yachting Developments launching 27.4-meter "Satu" in August
"Satu" is a 27.4-meter sportfishing luxury yacht that was originally built at VMYNZ. However, she was moved to Yachting Developments in New Zealand where she has been fitted out towards launching and completion.
Ullberg Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior design of Satu with her construction fleshed out in composite materials. On the other extreme, the interior has been designed by Robinson Marine and is described as contemporary. In terms of speed and performance, her top-end run is expected to be 33-knots using a pair of 2,400 horse power MTU engines. When launched in August she is expected to attend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) in October for her world debut...
49-meter Rossi Navi "Prince Shark" design
A new 49-meter superyacht is currently under construction at the Italian yard of Rossi Navi. She's hull FR027 at the yard and known as Project "Prince Shark". The yacht features a modern and aggressive exterior styling by Enrico Gobbi from the Italian design studio Team 4 Design.
Eleven crew members are expected onboard, as well as twelve guests. The interior will have a choice of natural elements that create a chiaroscuro effect enhanced by precious marbles that infuse this spectacular vessel with its own distinct, well-defined personality. A significant focus was placed on the lighting system to create settings that can enhance the available space to increase the well-being of guests...
New 76-meter design for Proteksan & Turquoise
A new superyacht design is on the drawing boards for Proteksan & Turquoise. The new vessel is on a 76-meter hull with a number of highlights and features. In the hull there is main tender storage in the aft where large shell doors open to allow launching and retrieval of those tenders and PWCs. Further tender storage is available on the bow, just aft of the helipad.
Moving towards the aft again there is a large waterfall pool on the aft of the main deck. This is not the only luxury water receptacle on the external decks on board. On the owners deck (upper deck) there is a jacuzzi on the open deck forward of the panoramic lounge. The bubbling jacuzzi is flanked by sunpads. Imagine there is another jacuzzi, this time on the forward end of the sun deck, that too having sun pads on either side...
New Jongert 42-meter megayacht by Guido de Groot
This new megayacht design by Guido de Groot will fill the gap between the "Lucia M" (39-meter) and the new 50-meter under construction. The new yacht will present the option for prospective owners to build a Jongert over 40-meters but under 50-meters.
Jongert will outfit the new design with an owners’ deck, dedicating the upper deck to the owner. The layout will be flexible offering various atmospheres with the ability for Jongert to focus on the ultimate Chinese entertainment environment, with spaces that are expansive, round dinner tables and karaoke/entertainment areas...
Horizon RP110 "Andrea VI" megayacht in build
The first hull of the Horizon RP110, a brand-new model in the popular Horizon RP raised pilothouse series, was recently released from the mold to begin production. Her new owner now enjoys a 2006 Horizon E84 "ANDREA V" and plans to carry on the namesake with his new Horizon RP110 "ANDREA VI".
Equipped with twin CAT C32A 1900HP engines, the new RP110 is estimated to reach a top speed of 20 knots. The main technical system design of the first RP110 has been completed, and the RP110’s exterior designer J.C. Espinosa will also contribute to the yacht’s interior design. 37.5-meter "Zenith" motor cat yacht launched
The 37.50-meter motor yacht "Zenith" has been launched by Sabre Cats on April 15. She is currently at the Austal Service Yard in Henderson, Australia, undergoing finishing work at this Australian yard. Zenith is a large catamaran, designed by Incat Crowther and built by Sabre Catamarans.
The luxury catamaran Zenith boasts accommodation for ten guests in five comfortable cabins. The yacht and guests are catered to by a crew of six. She has been made in all-aluminium giving her marine-grade strength and lighter than if built in steel. Zenith (IC0832) is powered by two MTU 12V 4000 M90 diesel engines, enabling her to achieve a cruising speed of 25-knots. Her beam is of 10.3-meters and her maximum draught of 1.5-meters. "Indigo" in final stages of construction at San Lorenzo
The new luxury yacht currently under construction at San Lorenzo has been just sold to a Russian client. The yacht, a member of the SL104 series, is only a few months away from completion. She is expected to be delivered to her owner in July 2012.
The new SL104 will be launched as "Indigo" bearing Naval Architecture by Francesco Paszkowski. On the inside, accommodation is provided for eight guests across the owner’s suite on the main deck, with a VIP-type stateroom as well as two twin-bed cabins on the lower deck. All of the rooms are graced by en-suite bathrooms.
Indigo is expected to have a top speed of 29-knots with her pair of MTU 16V2000 M93 engines. The RINA-classed vessel will spend her first time out on the water in the Western Mediterranean...
New order for Fitzroy 37-meter sloop
Another yacht has been ordered from New Zealand yacht builder Fitzroy Yachts. She is to be a 37-meter all-aluminum sailing yacht with a sloop-rig. No variable keel on this one, her draft it constant via a fixed keel. In build she will be known as FY17 with design not surprisingly from Dubois Naval Architects.
On the inside, the design will bear the work of Design Unlimited. Actual construction on FY17 is expected to start full with plate-cutting in next month (May, 2012). Delivery according to schedule is set for early 2014. Accommodation will be in a master stateroom, two guest staterooms all of which will be located aft. There is provision for a fourth cabin for guests.

San Lorenzo launches 122' "Souraya" megayacht
Italian yard San Lorenzo recently launched their latest megayacht, a member of the SD122 family. Her name is "Souraya" and represents the fifth yacht in the the SD122 series.
The interior boasts fine materials to exude a luxurious atmosphere. Parquet floors are done in eucalyptus wood with an opaque finishing. This wood choice on the floors offers unity with the furniture made in glossed eucalyptus wood as well with stainless steel inserts. In the bathrooms Marfil Cream marble and Tobacco Brown marble exist.
Dual CAT C32 engines are powering Souraya to a top speed of 17-knots. While the rich cream and white vessel is expected to have a range of 3,000-nautical miles at a slower speed of 12-knots. The new yacht will be handed over to her owners after the requisite trials and finishing work...
Dubois designed 41-meter "Cannes"
The new Dubois-design 41-meter motoryacht "Cannes" is nearing completion and will launch this year (2012). She is currently being built by Saenz Yachts. The interior design is being done by Serge Moreau while Dubois did the Naval Architectural work on Cannes.
The internal layout of Cannes comprises of accommodation for two in the master suite on the main deck, three double VIP-type suites and two cabins which combined accommodate a further eleven guests. One of the cabins includes a pullman bed and all cabins feature luxurious en-suite bathrooms.

Benetti launches fourth Delfino 93’ in Viareggio
This past April 18th saw the technical launch at Viareggio of the 4th unit of the new Benetti Delfino 93’ – entry yacht of the Benetti Class range – an event held on the grounds of the Azimut-Benetti Group’s Lusben company, located adjacent to the Benetti shipyard’s headquarters. Following the customary preliminary steps, including the traditional breaking of the bottle on the hull, the yacht was lowered into the water, a ceremony witnessed by Owner, technical personnel, workers, and all Benetti staff who oversaw outfitting and construction over the past several months.
Delfino 93’ represents a close link between Benetti innovation and history. The first motor yacht by this name was presented forty years ago at the 1969 Genoa boat show...
Christensen/Ocean Alexander 120' megayacht
This new 120-foot yacht is currently under construction and is expected to debut at the 2012 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Construction is going full speed ahead and fitout of final materials and and cabinetry started.
The composite yacht is being built as a collaboration between Ocean Alexander and Christensen Yachts. Very soon the Evan K. Marshall interior will come together. Custom-made natural stone is being fitted and installed as we speak and overall launching can be expected in August, 2012.

78-meter "Hampshire" launches at Feadship
Feadship has launched the 78.50-metre custom motoryacht Hampshire II for an experienced Feadship owner with a great love of action and sports. From the foredeck ball court to the 25-metre high crow’s mast, this latest scion of the Feadship fleet is a yacht full of adventure. Nordhavn 86' "Zembra" delivered
Nordhavn welcomed the latest member of its Nordhavn 86 series with the delivery N8608 "Zembra". After arriving from the factory in China in November, Zembra spent four months undergoing commissioning in San Diego before being handed over to her new owners on February 5th.
Part of her 8-hour delivery trip included fueling the boat completely with nearly 6,000 gallons of diesel into five tanks. She performed beautifully for her delighted new owners who are currently in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California. They will cruise the Sea of Cortez until the end of April, return to California for a check-up and then continue on to Alaska for the summer.
Zembra is by far the most specified N86 to date, constructed with high gloss Walnut interior, glue-in windows, a new flybridge hardtop design and extended sky lounge deck, among many other customizations...
Update on hull 2 of the Codecasa 42M Vintage
At the start of this year (2012) YF informed you about the progress of the second hull in the Codecasa Vintage series. Then, we suggested that launching of the new vessel was expected in 2012. However, news is that the launch date seems to have been pushed back. Currently, the revised launch period is Spring 2013.
For a quick revision of some important features, Codecasa states she will carry ten guests. They are to be slept in a Master, two doubles and a twin. Seven crew members will sleep in three twin and one captain's cabin. Technically speaking the second hull is expected to run on dual CAT engines, 3512B's to be precise.
Top speed is anticipated to be 17-knots. A 4,000 nautical mile range at 11-knots can be extracted from her 60,000 LT capacity fuel oil tanks. She is being built in steel and aluminum and is MCA compliant as well as classed under Lloyds Register...
Horizon's E84 "Virginia" delivered to her owners
The E84 "Virginia", which measures 89ft-6in(27.3 meters) in length and 20ft (6.1 meters) in beam, is powered by twin MAN 12V 1550HP engines and has an 18 knot cruising speed with a top speed of 22 knots.
The luxurious, modern interior features Maple, Birds Eye Maple and Wenge woods, and the window mullions with matched veneer pattern incorporated in salon, showcasing Horizon’s superior craftsmanship. In addition, the salon includes a high-end home theatre system with karaoke equipment and oversized LED TV, which has an additional touch-screen for selecting songs when enjoying karaoke onboard.

50-meter "La Pellegrina" is splashed at Couach
The largest yacht built by Couach yachts has now been officially splashed. This happened over the weekend on the 8th of April. Keep in mind that the launching of the latest Couach is also a milestone for France as well as she is the largest composite-manufactured vessel in France.
The 49.50-meter superyacht has been christened with the name plates, "La Pellegrina". A quick revision of some key features suggest she has accommodation for twelve. Two twin cabins, two doubles a VIP-type cabin and the master stateroom exist. La Pellegrina is powered by dual MTU 5,300 horse power engines. These will run her to a maximum speed of 28-knots as well as a cruising speed of 25-knots. Economical cruising should provide a transatlantic range. Delivery of La Pellegrina is expected for May...
