Jongert 3200P sailing yacht with Rhoades Young Design
Jongert has been trying to keep its line fresh and contemporary and the new Jongert 3200P sailing yacht ticks all those boxes. The vessel is one that has been introduced to the public already, in design featuring styling inside and out by Rhoades Young Design. According to the Rhoades Young Studio website, this vessel is to launch in 2013. On the other hand, Naval Architecture is by Doug Peterson.

Benetti 47-meter hull 'FB502' megayacht in-build
Italian yacht manufacturer Benetti has been kept busy with a myriad of yachts they have under construction across their many classes and ranges. One of them is the second 47-meter megayacht, hull FB502. You will remember hull FB501 which was the start of a new line of 47-meter yachts for Benetti, FB501 was later christened as "Imagination".
The yacht presently under construction is the second vessel in this line, hence FB502. She features Naval Architecture by Benetti and the build is being supervised by Project Manager Jens Cornelsen. On the interior, she boasts a design by Rhoades Young Designs. If the first hull is anything to go by, FB502 should be 47-meters LOA, 8.80-meter BOA and have a draft of 2.70-meters. Full load displacement should be around 350-tonnes. If she is using twin MTU M90 16V 4000 engines, top speed will be around 24.5-knots with a range of 3,400 nautical miles at 12-knots...

'Continental III' 26M motoryacht in build at Wim van der Valk
A fruitful collaboration between Wim van der Valk yard and Guido de Groot resulted in the creation of the design for the new 26-meter 'Continental III' motoryacht. That very vessel is in a well-advanced stage of construction and is expected to be completed by August 2013 according to schedule.
The modern appeal, sizable layout and emphasis upon privacy were all taken into account when designed by Guido de Groot in consultation with the yard and the owner. We can expect triple Volvo Penta IPS-1200s below decks to power this yacht. She will be equipped with a Seakeeper M26000 Gyro system among other modern pieces of equipment.

Gulf Craft launches second Majesty 135' megayacht
Gulf Craft have successfully launched their second 135' megayacht of the Majesty semi-custom series. It is also their first launch for 2013. The Gulf Craft Majesty 135 is designed by Gulf Craft themselves. The interior is a custom job sporting accommodation for twelve guests in a Master, VIP and four doubles.
With the vessel just having completed sea trial the yacht should be closer to completion now. Top speed is anticipated to be in the region of 25-knots and give an 1,100 nautical mile range at cruising speed all thanks to her pair of MTU 12V 4000 M94 series engines. This particular hull will make her debut at the upcoming Dubai Boat Show in March 2013.

Ferretti Custom Line about to launch 12th Navetta 33M Crescendo
The latest Ferretti Custom Line Navetta Crescendo is on the verge on being launched by the Italian brand. When launched she will be the twelfth (12th) hull of the series. If you remember, back in 2008, Ferretti Custom Line introduced the new series.
The Navetta 33 Crescendo is the result of the close working relationship between Studio Zuccon International Project, the AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology, the Ferretti Group’s naval research and design centre, and the team of architects and designers at the Ferretti Group’s Centro Stile.
As a reminder of the Navetta 33 Crescendo's general specifications, she has an LOA of 32.62-meters, a beam 7.00-meters and full draft of just over 2.50-meters. Latest Benetti Classic Supreme in-build, sold
Italian yard Benetti ended 2012 on a strong note with the sale of another yacht. This time, the new yacht is from their Benetti Classic Supreme line. She is the fourth hull in the new series and is already under construction at Benetti. She is expected to be completed in 2014.
As usual the tri-deck megayacht bears design by Stefano Righini. She is being made in high tech composites and shouldn't depart too much from previous units in this series with the larger hull windows and notched-out bulwarks allowing the view outward and aiding further natural light to flow inward.
As a reminder of some of the basic characteristics, she is 40.2-meters LOA with a beam of 8.18-meters and 2.23-meters is the maximum draft. Perini Navi launches 40-meter sail yacht "State of Grace"
The first launch of the year for Italian yacht builder Perini Navi comes in the form of a 40-meter fast cruising sailing yacht. Her name is "State of Grace" and she was built at the yard's Istanbul/Yildiz shipyard. S/Y State of Grace, designed in-house by Perini Navi naval architects in collaboration with New Zealander Ron Holland, has sleek lines and both hull and superstructure in aluminium. With just 220 tons displacement, this yacht is sure to perform brilliantly in all sailing conditions.
In terms of accommodation, the yacht’s four cabins include a full beam owner’s suite with a gym, have innovative layouts and can accommodate up to nine guests comfortably. A new 60-meter superyacht design coming from Italian firm Pama Design has recently been signed for sale. She boasts modern appeal from stem to stern and has all the creature comforts needed onboard a superyacht. One of the main features that you cannot miss is the extensive use of glass onboard.
