Nauta draws up their largest sailyacht design to date
Nauta yachts have outdone themselves again. After designing the largest yacht in the world, Lurssen's "Azzam" project they have now designed their own largest sail yacht to date. It's not a world-record yacht but at just under 50-meters, it is a personal achievement for the design house.
Nauta collaborated with Reichel-Pugh on this one to help them with underwater surface and appendages design. The 155-foot yacht design is stirring considerable interest and in fact, there is a client currently looking for a performing sloop in the region of 45.7-meters. Prediction is that the speed could be around 16.5-knots if calculations are on track. The vessel is very sleek and low-profile and has a very squatted deckhouse to preserve those low-profile lines.
