SouthernWind launches SW82 sailyacht "Feelin' Good"​

Feelin’ Good is the first SW82 hull built by Southern Wind Shipyard, just launched in the waters of Cape Town. She is designed by the consolidated team of Farr Yacht Design (naval architecture, sail plan and appendages) and Nauta Design (general design, deck and interior design) and she benefits of the experience gained by Southern Wind over the last two decades in building super yachts.

CustomLine Navetta 33 Crescendo motoryachts ​

Ferretti Custom Line, a brand of the Ferretti Group producing yachts between 26 and 38-meters in length, has launched the 13th and the 14th hull of the semi-displacement line Navetta 33 Crescendo at its shipyard in Ancona. Hull 13 will make her way to a client in Mexico, and hull 14 is destined for the North American market.

Hull 13 will have a contemporary interior design and has a few special customized features that were asked to be added by the Mexican owner. Hull 14 is will be on her way to an American owner and has a modern interior with use of glass elements and white lacquered furniture pieces...

Conrad Yachts launch 115-foot motorsailer "Lunar"​

The Conrad yard recently launched their newest yacht the 115-foot motorsailer called "Lunar". The new vessel launched at the end of June (June 27th) and is already in the water with her rig attached. Now that she is in the water, Lunar can be readied for sea trials while final work onboard continues apace...

Horizon Delivers E62 Motoryacht to Owner in China​

Since the start of 2013, Horizon has been busy with the delivery of 11 yachts to new owners. The most recent delivery is a Horizon E62 motoryacht to a young gentleman in China who is well-known in the Chinese technology field. The new owner contacted Horizon in February 2012 during the Hainan Rendezvous and Boat Show in Sanya, where he was invited to personally tour the yachts on display; after a few months of communication regarding interior layouts and build specifications, the owner ordered his E62 and as of this month, he is the happy new owner of a Horizon yacht...

Feadship relaunches 71.60-meter superyacht "Utopia"​

The 71.60-metre Feadship "Utopia" has completed her refit to the complete satisfaction of her owners and captain. The extensive repainting work on the superstructure and hull was on display as the yacht was re-launched by Feadship. Utopia also benefits from a wide range of mechanical improvements and updates in a refit project that was completed within a remarkably short time frame.

This was the second occasion that the owner of this wonderful Feadship has had Utopia refitted by Feadship since she was first launched there in 2004. Dubois unveil 90-meter design for Feadship​

Dubois Naval Architects recently unveiled a concept design for a 90-meter superyacht proposed to Dutch yard Feadship. Listed as P0513 on Dubois' drawing boards, they have managed to keep the proportions cleverly hidden thanks to the sleek lines employed.

Southern Wind Shipyard is working actively to build the hull number 3 of the SW102 model to be called "Farfalla". This super yacht will be a Raised Saloon version, which features bright panoramic windows on the coach roof and an airy under-deck open saloon. Horizon E56 under construction for Malaysian client ​

There is a new Horizon E56 currently under construction at the yard for a Malaysian client. The new Horizon E56 motoryacht order from a gentleman in Sabah, also known as the Maldives in Malaysia, who is a high-profile individual and the first person to own a Lamborghini in that area.

MCP building 42.5-meter Project 'Hemisphere' megayacht​

MCP Yachts in Brazil is currently working on their largest yacht yet, the 42.5-meter Project 'Hemisphere'. She is being built to Lloyd’s Register and has been built in all-aluminium. Work is now entering the next stages of build which will include fairing, painting, general outfitting and finishing.

The design of Project Hemisphere has been by both MCP and the experienced hands of Vripack. She is powered by dual 1,825 Horse Power Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesels engines to push her to a projected top speed of 19-knots. This semi-displacement yacht has an economic range of 3,500 nautical miles, drawing from 35,000 LT capacity tanks. Her layout on the interior is done to facilitate the sleeping of ten guests. The large master cabin is situated on the forward main deck and boasts the features you would come to expect onboard a luxurious platform of this size...

Codecasa launches 50-meter "Framura 3" superyacht​

Codecasa Shipyards are proud to announce the recent launching of the new 50-meter motoryacht "Framura 3", which is going to become the flagship of the Codecasa Sport series that includes the CODECASA 35s, the CODECASA 41s and the CODECASA 45s. Couach launches 2600 Fly motoryacht "Ocram Dos Vigo"​

The first 26-meter motoryacht by Couach launches in Arachon Bay, France. The new model has been built to plug the gap between its 22-meter and 28-meter models. This new model, already with her final name, "Ocram Dos Vigo", has a design by Franck Reynaud.

The new 2600 Fly, Ocram Dos Vigo has been built in composite and has the ability to reach a top speed of 31-knots. Not surprising with Couach's performance oriented packed she is powered by a pair of 12V 1,800 horse power MAN engines. The 52-tonne vessel has a beam of 6.30-meters and a very slim draft of 1.05-meters...

Heesen delivers 65-meter superyacht "Galactica Star"​

Dutch superyacht builder Heesen has now successfully delivered their flagship 65-meter superyacht "Galactica Star". Galactica Star was set to be delivered by the end of June but she obviously was finished ahead of schedule.

She has many special features inclusive of an aft duplex beach club comprising a 10-sqm side balcony, a 22-sqm swim platform, bar, sauna, hammam, lit with natural light coming through a glass-bottomed main-deck pool. Remember Galactica Star is part of Heesen's Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) line and has been taylored to be fast and efficient for her size. The all-aluminium superyacht is run by twin 4,300kW MTU 20V 4000 M93L engines. The FDHF innovative hull design increases the overall performance of the yacht by around 30 percent.

Alloy completes 43.90-meter sailing yacht "Encore"​

New Zealand yard Alloy Yachts has now completed the 43.90-meter sailing yacht "Encore" and has been delivered to her owners. The design is by Ed Dubois of Dubois Naval Architects. The 265-tonne yacht built under Alloy yard designation AY45, has a sailing rig done by Southern Spars. The mast is 54-meters tall supporting the rest of the sail equipment. Delta Marine launches 66-meter superyacht "Invictus"​

American yard Delta Marine has successfully launched their latest yacht, the 66-meter "Invictus". She was built under the project name 'Invader' in steel and composite materials. Her aggressive build schedule pushed her to be launched by the first half of 2013.

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 main engines and carrying over 50,000 gallons of fuel, the yacht will have a 5,000 nautical mile range at 12-knots and a maximum speed of 16.8-knots. Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers will ensure a nice gentle ride both at anchor and underway. Her tender garage with side hull doors and overhead gantry cranes for deployment, will stow a RIB tender, jet skis and a custom 28’ Italian style launch.

Hakvoort delivers 39.7-meter motoryacht "Apostrophe"​

Dutch yard Hakvoort now has completed the 39.7-meter motoryacht "Apostrophe". Custom-built in every respect, Apostrophe features an elegant exterior profile from the boards of Reymond Langton Design Ltd., which was also responsible for the contemporary Art Deco interior. With naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design, the owner was determined to build the finest Hakvoort to date, Apostrophe is a testimony to how magnificent things can be achieved when people truly cooperate together.

Built as YN 247 at the yard, Apostrophe features a full-beam master stateroom and owner’s study on the main deck. Eight guests will enjoy first class accommodation in four cabins, with dedicated quarters for the captain and four crew members. There will be a special garage for the tender in the lazarette, which will be located just aft of the engine room...

Vitters delivers 33.4-meter carbon sloop "Inouï"​

Dutch yard Vitters has successfully completed and handed over "Inouï", the 33.4-meter carbon sloop to her owners. Delivery happened right after she was formally christened at the Maritime Museum in the heart of Amsterdam. She features a bold and vivid green hull color that really stands out.

Inouï was been designed by Philippe Briand and Naval Architecture was also completed by them. The interior was fleshed out by famed London-based design firm Andrew Winch Design. Inouï is the fourth carbon composite super yacht built at Vitters. The hull and superstructure were constructed at their subsidiary company Green Marine in Hythe, United Kingdom...
