SilverCat Expanding With Two New Models
The SilverCat 36 is about to have siblings making the model a yacht range. The yard is adding two new models to the SilverCat lineup which will now have an entry-level vessel at 22-meters long and a slightly larger SC24 (23.9-meter). As you might expect, the two additions to the range will be based off the SilverCat 36 featuring design by Espen Oeino. Cigarette Racing has a new boat and it is called the Cigarette 52 Thunder. In the last few years the news cycle has been preoccupied by the 59 Tirranna from this builder. It is good to see them stepping back at this juncture in terms of length and not bringing a longer boat than the Tirranna. The Thunder was introduced back in June and represents a new path forward for Cigarette Racing. It is the first boat launched since the new ownership of the company as well as the first with the new V-bottom. 35M Classic Explorer In Build By Atlante Yachts
Atlante Yachts has been working on the development of a 35-meter Classic-styled explorer yacht from the Atlante Classic Series. The yard has a series of designs including the Classic Series, Levante and Mistral. This member of the Classic Series is a 35-meter (the yard suggests that the Classic Series is from 30-meters to 27-meters so far). This vessel has now been sold to a Northern European customer and is now expected to be delivered in 2025. StellarPM Reveals SF2603 Design
A new sportfish catamaran design revealed. It is by a company called StellarPM based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The SF2603 is a step-up from StellarPM's previous StellarCAT AL2503 and is being developed between the yard and a gamefisherman. "The SF2603 was developed together with an experienced game fisherman who wanted a more stable and comfortable base boat than a traditional monohull sportsfisher could offer. His key requirements were safety, strength, superyacht luxury and the means to cruise between the great fishing grounds off Florida and the Caribbean, Belize and Nova Scotia and cruising areas much further afield when extended cruises with family and friends are in order. The first Nordhavn N71 has been launched. Nordhavn announced the launching yesterday (July 30th) and we know the first example of the new model is called "Luna". Nordhavn has just unveiled the design for their latest undertaking. It is called the N112 and as the model name suggests it is a 34-meter yacht in the region of 112-feet. The rationale behind the new design according to Chief of Design Jeff Leishman is to offer all the amenities but with the advantage of manageability.
