Lets start this thread with well...a not so good video but it gives you an idea of what "Wabi-Sabi" looks like. She is the 8th hull in the Westport 164 series, delivered somewhere around Spring this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rV-3OQGGPE
Another very short clip but it shows how her underwater lights look along with "Satori's" DSC_2513.MOV - YouTube
IMO, Westport has done a great job in the 164 offering. We've seen another 164 out on the water before, and a couple years back walked through another 164 at FLIBS. Lady Kathryn IV if my memory serves me correctly. The quality and attention to detail / well thought out design they put in the 40 meter also holds true in the 164.
What is also interesting is many of the subtle details that are appearing on each new 164. Yeah all of them are white but they have different accent colours, glass windbreaks, glassed in rails on the aft of the exterior, different lighting options and so on help make a difference.
I'd guess that's because at that price point, you get even further into the customization(s) and personalization of the boat rather than in the 40M which is pretty standard other than a few tweaks here and there? That would be my guess.
