Looking for recommendations for a surveyor for 75' steel yacht. Survey and haulout to be in Savannah, GA. My local steel surveyor there deep-sixed. Need a new one...

    Thanks for suggestions!

    Round up the usual suspects.

Call Bill or who he tells you to call next.

Thanks, Ralph. I have used Gladding in the past and will give a call.

Maldwin -- I have tried using Dylan previously and the stars never lined up. I forgot he might be in that neck of the woods. I knew his dad Howdy and even sold one of Howdy Bailey's steel trawlers.

Thanks to you both for the good leads (and memory refreshers)!

BTW, Bill Gladding is my go to surveyor in the Jacksonville area. I suggested Dylan because it is a metal boat.

Thanks, Maldwin. I was trying to think if you owned a boat that wasn't plastic. Did you own RH? Have you ever used Dylan?

Half of my boats have been wood, the other half plastic, no metal yet, although I have considered some.

That's what I recalled. Ok, so you can still complete the hull material checklist one of these days ;-)
