Hey all, doing a project for school on ocean wave energy devices. Would a small buoy ocean wave energy device, say about a foot or 2 feet in diameter, that you can throw in the water when not moving be of any interest to the boating community? Trying to find smaller applications of an ocean wave energy devices
Rather than wave generator, suggest you examine the potential of tidal energy. In the Pacific Northwest where tides are easily and consistantly +/- 10 feet (likewise Sweden?), a technology to capture tidal energy on a small scale would have a wide appeal while anchored in a calm and sheltered cove... IMO. Cheers, Richard.
