  1. Fairline Boats debuted the new Squadron 68, a larger version of the Squadron 66, at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show on October 25th, 2006. The new 68' boasts a revised design, increased accommodations and truly up-to-date elements.

One of the most notable attributes of the new 68' is a completely open floor plan with virtually no separation between salon, galley and pilothouse. Taking cues from modern home design, Fairline is using freestanding sofas, chairs & tables that can moved about as desired. This arrangement results in the feel of greater interior volume, plus it can be easily customized as the yacht changes ownership.

Taking modern design to the next step, the helm and instrument panel appear to be a study in automotive ergonomics. Unlike traditional marine and Euro-style helms that have become so common, Fairline has created a truly contemporary helm mixing wood & brushed aluminum panels in a thoroughly modern mix.

The new Squadron 68’ is available with several engine packages including a pair of Cat C-32’s (1,550 hp each) that will propel her into the 35 knot range. For further information contact:
