I have a 2000 Zodiac Yacht Line, model YL310. Needs a couple of minor repairs. Is this material haplon or pvc. Need to purchase correct adhesive.

    Thanks for help

They were all Hypalon. Use MEK solvent too, works really well.

    I have had four 380 Yachtlines, a 2001 310 soft bottom and a 2000 275 hard bottom. The 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2001 were all PVC.

The last one I had was a 2007 and it was hypalon. I don't think they offered hypalon on the yachtline until around 2003ish when the new tube and hull design came out.

I'd suggest asking Zodiac. Otherwise you have 50/50 odds of being right.

Call the company, not the dealer. Just ask your question.

I have had 2 Yacht Line RIBs 20 years apart, one is sitting on a trailer outside now, and are hypalon. Maybe it's a Serial Number job to check with Zodiac, but I've never seen a PVC YL Rib.

Check with Zodiac, they have a claim to some proprietary material which is neither PVC or Hap. on the YL's

Post a picture of the tubes close up. I can easily tell the difference.

If it's a smooth surface it's hypalon, if it has a raised stipple finish or something resembling Braille then it's pvc.

I'm 100% positive all of my older yachtlines were pvc and repaired a few myself.

Their site talks about some other material on its new boats? Maybe its hyp/pvc by another name?

The new ones (2015 and up) are a completely different material than what they used in years prior.
