Joe Schaden from Outrigger Imaging sent me the final proofs on the T-shirts we're printing for YachtForums & JetForums. These shirts are FREE to our Senior Members. The leftovers will be made available on a "Show Me a Link and I'll Show You a Shirt" basis.

Update: Shipping should commence in June.

You're already a Senior Member Ward. I forgot to update your status when your post odometer clicked 100. That should be fixed now. You're officially a high mileage member. :)

To gain Senior status, members must reach a minimum of 100 posts, but post number alone is not enough to qualify. The posts of a member are reviewed for quality. If your posts are relevant, informative and generally helpful... you qualify to be a YF Centurion.

There are some people, such as K1W1, Marmot and several others who achieved senior status in their first few posts. In contrast, there are some members who will never get the geriatric designation.

... and that's appreciated! YF is fortunate to have enthusiastic members. The T's aren't for sale, but they can be easily earned. Simply post a link to YachtForums on your website, blog or even a forum where a link to YF is relevant to a thread. Then...

Show Me the Link and I'll Show You a Shirt!

    :)

I've started a blog about my Bertram so as to share the knowledge. There's a link there to this site :)

The blog is viewable here: 1985 Bertram 46'6"

    I hope I'm not too late :(

Just checked your link to YF.

Third Place under Useful Links of three links?

Don't know about the too late; but definitely too low on the placement list of Useful Links.

    P.S.- Hope the other links provided a T-Shirt. ;)

Thanks Navatech! And Old Phart too!!

It looks like we're gonna be shirtless a little longer. The supplier Joe was using did not produce acceptable quality. I'm awaiting a bid from a local t-shirt printer right now. The YF shirts were fine, but the JF shirts looked like they went through the wringer. See attached...

No thanks necessary :) I had those links up there anyway :)

Hopefully there will be a couple of left overs :)

A new bid isn't going to assure quality. Frankly, I'm a production guy myself and sometimes stuff happens. You can not be in production and always deliver 100% quality. The real question IMHO is how the bad batch is dealt with.

IOW, the supplier does know how to do a good product. To wit, the YF shirts. Let them have a 2nd go at the JF shirts. Of course, unless they supply the agreed upon quality you don't pay them for anything.

Too late. Going with another printer. Honestly WAY behind on this. Gotta get 'er done and move on to other projects.

For some reason that site lists the links in reverse order that they are entered in. IOW, I actually listed YF 1st! I could delete the first one (YF) and then redo it but then deleting YF doesn't sound right. Plus I'd have to do it again each and every time I wanted to add another link.

So, I did something else :) And YF is on top! I'd better get that shirt now! :)

Nothing yet but then again, they probably don't even know yet that they have been linked to. Plus, I had the links up before I knew anything about swag being handed out ;)

We've been through several revisions of the original artwork, along with a few sample runs, trying to get the shirts to print well. I haven't been satisfied with the end result, so we're moving to a spot color process and we've revamped the artwork accordingly. Should have a sample tomorrow. If all goes well, the shirts will go to print soon thereafter.

Hoping to start shipping in early June. Will send out an address request to our senior members in the next week or two.

    Here's the final art...
