Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've heard a story like this. Kudo's to Capt. Atchison for remaining poised and professional under the circumstances. Friends of our family encountered a similar scenario. I never posted it to the forums. Didn't think it was appropriate. Glad to see awareness being raised. Very unfortunate situation. A real life nightmare!
I just read the newspaper the boat looked a little home made, had a platform tacked on it and the rails forward were enclosed as an afterthought. Old lines with a few new pieces tossed in.
