Yacht Configurators

    Does anybody know if any other yacht manufacturer other than Hanse or Azimut that has a yacht configurator application available? Hanse is available on their website, but it appears as though one must use the Azimut configurator at an authorized Azimut dealer.

    I would have thought that most companies would have them in the same manner as you would find shopping for a car. I could see a default choice of say four or five choices of fabric color schemes and perhaps that many choices in wood. Customers would go to the dealer to fine tune their desired configuration with the dealer.

    Appreciate any insight.

    At this past year's FLIBS, Eric Cashion (the MD of Hatteras) showed me their soon to be released configurator. If it's not already online, I think they're shooting for a summer release of virtual Hatt tricks.

    Personally, I'm not the configurator type. Maybe because I spend more time online than my modem. But if I was, I'd configure something like this...
