    Hello everybody,

what training I need as a Yacht Broker? Do I need a license?

Does anybody know a alternative for a "Business Assistant for Information Technology" and an "E-Business Junior Assistant" (experienced in Photoshop) in the yachting industry? (especially around Fort Lauderdale)

    Thanks in advance :)

  2. Licensing is required in Florida and California.

For training I would suggest getting a job on a yacht and work your way up to captain, after 10- 12 years you will have some knowledge base.
Then get a job at a department store in the complaint department so you will know how to deal with buyers and sellers.
Then awhile as a plumber so you will know how to put up with a lot of bullsh**
Working in a psychiatrists office would give you good training.
Being a moderator at Yachtforums would get you used to long hours at no pay.

Real advice would be to get a job at a new boat dealership and work your way up in knowledge and experience. Good luck.
