What's your budget and have you looked through the LISTINGS section above?

your title is misleading, why don't you add 50' SF to your title.

Big differences between a convertible and a SF. One is set up for cruising but you can also fish from; the other is set up for fishing and you can also cruise. Also one tends to get more wear and tear and hours.

Whichever. "Looking to buy" is not an appropriate thread title, it should have the subject in it as well, in the thread title. whether it be 50' Sportfish, 50' convertible etc. A 50' Post and a 50' Hatteras IS a sportfish, not a convertible.

Admin edit: thread retitled for better indexing

Gentleman I've been in boating my entire life and my boats from Searays ( sedan bridges ) to Hatts always referred to as Convertibles

in the model line ( see Hatteras owners forum under model brochures ) and Posts are consider either depending on whom

your speaking to .. Long and short do either one of you gentleman have one for sale that's the only question here Boys

Doubt you'll get an answer to that without knowing your budget. Who wants to waste their time if the budget is $3 and their boat is $3M. Also most here with boats they want to sell would advertise it in the LISTINGS section which is why I directed you there.
Granted many will mislabel their boats, but the difference between a SF and a convertible are shown above. You don't want to waste time looking for the wrong boat.

Thread titles are what make people click the link... few will spend time reading a post that's so vague. Something a little more descriptive and a little less nebulous in both the title and the body of you message will help your search.

I just glanced in the LISTING section and there are a few boats that fit the little info given including at least one Post and Hatteras.
