The recently concluded World SuperYacht Awards and its participnts and atendees saw many winners in the phases of people and yachts. The event was held on April 27th in Venezia and honoured the best work of desingers and teams as well as the yachts for the past year (2006).

Motor Yachts

Best Displacement Motor Yacht 60M to 79M was the m/y Kogo.

Best Displacement Motor Yacht 50M to 59M was the m/y April Fool.

Best Displacement Motor Yacht 30M to 49.9M was the m/y Arcadia.

Best Semi-Displacement Yacht 40M and up was the m/y Seafaris.

Best Semi-Displacement Yacht 30M to 39M was the m/y Angel Of Joy.

Best Interior for MY was the Terrance Disdale interior on the m/y Kogo.

Best Exterior Styling was by Dubois Naval Architechs on the m/y Como.

Motor Yacht of the year went to m/y Kogo.

Sail Yachts

Best Sailing Yacht 45M and up was won by Perini Navi's s/y Maltese Falcon

Best Sailing Yacht 30M to 44M was won my the Vitters s/y Mystere

Best Sailing Yacht interior was won by Ken Freivokh ... s/y Maltese Falcon

Best Sailing Yacht exterior won by Tripp Design... s/y Mystère

S/Y of the Year went to none other than the s/y Maltese Falcon

and the Best Refitted Saling yacht went to the s/y Lulworth
