Does anyone know the approximate original weight of a 1965 33ft steel Roamer [express style] I realize they gain weight with the patches over the years, but a marina has one and are afraid to lift it on their small hoist.
    Thanks for the help

As I remember, the Chris Craft brochure put the weight at about 14,000 lbs. Now add a bunch for all the stuff accumulated on board, the fuel in the tanks and the bilge scum. I also have a '65 33', and out of only about 20 or so built that year, that makes us unique. (well, a stretch of the imagination) I have seen only one other 33' of any year ('65, '66 and '67) with a total of 55 built. That one is docked at a marina about 20 miles from my home port. I've located one in Ohio or somewhere like that. What is your serial #? It starts RXA 33 0___.
