JetForums received the VIP treatment at the 2014 Vero Beach Air Show. YF Photographer Tom Serio captured the splendor and thrills from things that fly, flip, flash and flare as they not only adorned the skies but blazed the runway. Take a reprieve from yacht spotting and head over to JetForums for a different perspective on aeronautic acrobatics. Just don’t forget to come back.

And thanks for tolerating this shameless plug! :D

Great shots Capt Tom! Perfectly timed as well. About an hour ago, I had to hang up on a call that I was on working from home here in Milwaukee due noise from the Blue Angels practicing for the airshow here this weekend.

Are you going to Oshkosh this year?

Thanks everyone. I'm happy to share the pics and thankful to Carl for letting me show off a bit. Unfortunately I will not be attending Oshkosh this year but will keep it in mind for next year, as well as Sun n Fun in FL.

Maxwell, I heard that the local school board in Vero Beach had to ask the Blue Angels to hold off their practices until later in the day as it was very disruptive to the school kids there.

Here's one more. Cool effect from the exhaust heat of the other planes to the right out of the picture.

At first glance, it looked like the Mosaic filter in P-Shop.

Great shots as always Tom. You never cease to amaze us with your skill and humility. I spent some time looking over your site as well. I need to spend more time to get through more of it. Amazing.

On a side note, looks like a typo in the caption with the US Customs chopper(sight, not site):D

I hope Carl is "making" you go to Sweden with him for the Delta 80 review:D

Thanks Scot. I'll have to get Carl to fix the typo as I can't access the thread any longer.
If Carl forces me to go to Sweden, who am I to say no?

I realize this isn't the best place to post this...

    • If we had an account on JetForums before it was revamped, is that account still valid?
    • If so, where the heck is the login link? I could very well be blind or suffering from stupidity, but I can't seem to find any place to log in, just to register.

Just in case anyone else from YF comes across this:

If you had an account on JF before, it is still there. The login link is a bit hidden, on the same line near the top that shows you what forum you're currently in, there's a link on the right to a "Quick Navigation Menu" where you can log in.
