I want to buy a used SeaRay Cockpit Table. These tables have vertically adjustable pedistals, lead weighted bases, and a fiberglass top with molded drink holder. If you have a lead on one of these please let me know.

    Rick,

I gave up on this one after a couple of years of looking. Even at cost from Sea Ray a new one didn't make any sense. I ended up building one using teak parquet flooring and 2" bull nose molding for the top and a teak laminated to plywood and weighted with lead for the base. The pedestal was a maunally adjustableTodd seat pedestal. Works great, looks even better........ bet I've had 25 offers for it so far.

If you want to build one, let me know and I'll help you with methodology and bonding/finishing techniques.

    Frank,

Thanks for your input. I've looked at everything!! I know where SeaRay gets the adjustable pedistals, but can't find the base or the top. I'm told that SR makes them both. I've got my mind set on the SeaRay product. I just can't get my mind around the $1000.00 price tag. That's why I'm looking for used. Thanks anyway.

    Rick,

You are correct....the molds are proprietary, so there are none like them in the after-market. The Sea Ray product is better than most because the base is weighted and is not prone to tipping over.

If you aren't inclined to build one, you may consider a custom yacht service company like Murray Brothers or Mattke Brothers and have one made to your specs. That would likely cost as much as the Sea Ray table.

One last thought is to try to find someone trading or selling a boat that has a table on it. If he will sell the table to you, he comes out ahead because they aren't worth anything in the wholesale value of the boat.

    Good luck in your search...........

    Frank,

I've called all of the SeaRay brokers in Florida trying to "snag" a table off a trade-in, but no luck. I have persistance on my side. Thanks again for your suggestions.

    Rick,

It might be a long shot, but try "Sully" at US Auctions.com (formerly Bent Boat). He owns one of the leading insurance salvage companies in the biz. He generally has a couple of Sea Ray's in different stages of recovery. Might be worth a try...

Rick I have a table I can sell you. Let me know what size your Sea Ray is. I dont think there are any differences on the size of tables but you never know.

    Mateo,

I think they are all the same size and have 4 built in drink holders. Do you have a photo you can send me at rick@voicealarm.com? How much and where is it?

    Thanks,
