I have a problem with my port engine in my 2002 carver 450 voyager.these are the Volvo TAMD74P EDC 480 H/P engines. Both engines start up easily but after about 10-15 min the port engine revs fluctuate up and down and eventually stalls.this problem was intermittent at first but now happens everytime it is run.Fuel filters are clean.any suggestions as to the cause?

    Thanks Fishtigua
No overheating issues. lots of water flowing and the temp readings on both engines are the same and at the right temp.
I've run the engine at the dock in neutral at 1350 rpm for 20 min. and it runs fine. It only seems to have the problem under load.the fault code is reading poss. fuel injector pump or fuel injector connection may be loose. I found 3 loose connections and tightened them but the problem persists.before I send out the injector pump for expensive repair is there any other possible remedies?
    Thanks

Check your fuel lines for any possible air leaks, also check your fuel tank vent for any restrictions (you could run the boat with the deck plate off to vent the tank to test it). Other than these two things, assuming your fuel filters are clean and there's plenty of fuel in the tank, it does sound like an injector pump issue.
