Looked at a 1989 48 Viking C. Some of the panels, and a number of the tags on electrical and plumbing below, are written both in English and in French. I believe the boat was delivered new in US as it has the 1989 edition of the ICW chart book still onboard.

Anyone ever see Viking with panels (emergency shutdown, halon panel) or other factory labeling in French?

Sound like it was destined for French Canada. Be very careful with checking the documentation or you may find import duty and taxes due.

Princess and Viking built boats together. Maybe a Med boat?

Hadn't considered Canada. It is under current CG documentation.

Check its history. If it was ever registered up there make sure everything's been paid and legal.
