Another luxury Residential ship is about to start construction...called "Somnio". VARD secured the contract and the ship is expected to be completed in 2024 if all goes according to plan. This vessel is one of many residential ships that are either in design or construction. The last one to make headlines was the 293-meter "NJORD" which is also expected to be completed in 2024. Somnio on the other hand will have 39 apartments onboard and measure a healthy 33,500 GT. The design is by Tillberg while the interior is by Winch Design.

When the vessel docks...it will be disposed of in that port. As a result of it being a residential ship... it doesn't mean it won't come to shore.
