Question for any takers: I may have fallen for a '68 37 foot steel Riviera for sale on the Ohio River. I'm just trying to get some idea of a fair value for her. Between my observations and info obtained from the owner, she is in (what I'd call) slightly above average condition for a vessel her age…. 1200 hours on (original?) gas engines… generator… deck and trim seem in good shape… bottom replated 2 years ago. Interior will need work to undo some misguided “redecorating”. Everything original looks like it's there and not terribly screwed up. Any thoughts?
Oh boy - now thatz a loaded question. Replated is (very) good (right?). As always, the DPO (dreaded previous owner) had his way - but, hey, thatz what the West Marine catelogue is for, no?? Show me (us) the url (website) and tell iffin' she's gas or diesel. The design is an all-time winner, the devil is in the details. Cheers!
