  1. More on Jarrett Bay's 90-foot Sportfish 'Project Ireland'
Back in October 2014 YF informed you about the Jarrett Bay 90-footer sportfish that was signed into construction. http://www.yachtforums.com/index.ph...-announces-new-flagship-jarrett-bay-90.23709/It has been a while since then and the monster project has moved along in build. Being constructed under hull number 62 and project name "Ireland" it represents the largest custom built sportfish for Jarrett Bay. Work has been emphasized on planking the hull which is moving along quickly with more than 3/4 of the hull completed (in planking).
  2. According to schedule, project Ireland is expected to be completed in 2017. Designed to outpace the competition on the open blue, Jarrett Bay is moving Project Ireland pretty fast inside the shed too. The yard had special lightweight bulkheads laminated nearby and had them installed prior to getting underway on the hull’s skin. Planking of the port side and transom are near completion as bulkhead installation continues and planking begins down the starboard side. Hull 62 is going to be powered by dual MTU 16v 2000 M94s rated at 2,600 horse power each.
