    That's a pretty cool looking piece of metal work. Once again, I was inspired to search for this equally unique ball-transmission which offers the simplest direct transfer of energy with only three moving parts. Since the site is down, I suppose they couldn't find the needed financing. Of course, there are dozens of similar patents which require many geared concentric rings. The proof now is how well such an innovative product sells.

    Good find! Looks like a mechanism worth watching. It'll be interesting to see what happens to these joints as they get thrashed around in the dirt over time. The joint is more expensive to build than a "U" joint but if it lasts significantly longer then it'll have a shot. I've seen U joints and CV joints fail in under 4 months in mining environments.
