To celebrate my best Christmas present since a Red Ryder BB gun in 1950.



Twas the night before Christmas,
when all though the boat
Not a creature was stirring
Thank God we're afloat.......

When up on the deck, there arose such a clatter
I rose from my bunk to see what was the matter,
It was Bill from C-Dock, a right jolly old drunk
He came bearing cold beer and a bag full of junk

"Merry Christmas!" he slurred as he hoisted a glass
"Tis so **** cold outside, I near froze my ass!"
He was dressed all in red from his toes to his head
Another swallow or two and twas then that he said

"You've been a good boy all this year I am sure,
So this present I give will bring you great cheer"
He reached in his sack and pulled out a key ring
"Its a new boat he said and a beautiful thing"

But Bill, I replied, I have too many already
I work on them all day and all night and right steady
"It's a nice Donzi you jerk, a Classic 22 in bright red
Be glad that its not a **** Sea Ray", he patiently said.

With that he arose, hit his head on the door frame
Staggered to the dock and I heard him exclaim!

"Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!"
