    Gentlemen, I need to purchase 4 x turbo charger units, refurbished or new for 2001 MTU 12V 396 diesel engines.

    Can anyone assist me locating a supplier who would have them available?

    Are your current turbo's not rebuildable? That would be your best bet. Finding 396 parts is incredibly difficult.

    They should be rebuildable but I will need to send them to a very reliable reconditioning workshop.

    Archie @ diesel engine traders has 213 MTU turbo's available with the majority for series 60. He has two left hand and one right hand in stock for your 12v-396 . He can be reached @ 1.985.447.7280
    Also call Frank @ Depco power systems 1.713.675.6100 He'll be able to run them down for you also. Plenty of 396 support in the oil and mineral business in the Gulf of Mexico.

    Unfortunately no luck Jorge. I had to order new sets directly from MTU but delivery is very late, 6 months. I could have rebuilt the ones I have at a fraction of the price but I am missing one ZR140/026 casing and was not able to find a replacement casing. The original casing is fractured. Any ideas? If delivery is quick, I probably can still act.
    I need 2 x ZR140/026 turbo chargers and 2 x ZR170/068 turbo chargers.
