    Anyone use Trojan batteries? my local ship store has some 8d trojan batteries for $230 each. Does Trojan make decent batteries? I need to check the manufacture date on the batteries but what is the shelf life before it is not worth purchasing? Do they lose any performance when they are 1 year old? Your input is appreciated.

    Visit the Trojan website. They have a wide range of technical information available and you can even contact their technical people to ask about "shelf life" of their products and what to look for.

    They make very good batteries. As Marmot said, ask them about shelf life.
