We'll we're getting close! Only 100 days before we are are scheduled to launch this restored vessel ('69 41' AL Regal) and the devil is in the details. This is probably the first of many attempts to tap into the knowlede base here on finishing touch type stuff so I'll just get to the first one. Unfortunately the DPO used hardened steel screws to mount the anodized frame (holding the stainless steel ribbed trim plate on the side of the cabin - holding the Roamer/Chris Craft logo) to the fiberglass superstructure. Needless to say after some large number of years these were a pickle to remove! In that not so delicate process this anodized frame became..well..unusable. So here I am looking to replace as opposed to create new frames. Does anyone have a source for this? Also if anyone has found an alternate solution (I do want to keep the ribbed trim plate) I would appreciate the advice.
