The boat was dy docked for two years and forgot to check the trim when it was out of the water. they both engage when putting down the up on the starboard wont click or engage. I check the fuse and it is good. Any ideas?

Check the fluid level that drives the pistons; it's the same as automatic transmission fluid if it's low.

There should be a trim relay too, check that.

YEs I checked that first they are filled. The one thing I noticed is next to the selinoid there is a device that had a tab on it saying this srew is attached to the positive battery. That tab is broken off that drive. Is there a contact point there? so you can here the selinoid when going down but nothing going up.

    Hi,

Can you post any photos of these mystery components and does the Stbd Side look exactly the same as the Port Side?

    It was a fuse.
