    Hey guys and girls,

We've been looking into this for a a while now but we run a commercial trawler and we are getting a lot of waste at the end of a trawl, what is everyone doing with it. We've been looking a small scale diesel incinerator, what has everyone else doing / thoughts on this?

What sort of waste do you mean?

Do you mean you are towing a commercial net trawl and getting marine borne plastics stuck in the end of the net? Or do you mean a cruise with domestic garbage left over that cannot be dumped at sea (organics) or recycled back at the dock?

Why are you asking this on recreational boating sites?

The MARPOL Annex VI covers incinerators, the MCA has the information you need regarding incinerators.

Go to the source, the people who wrote the regs that will be used to hang you when you use advice you get on yachting and toyboat forums.

Or are you doing a different type of trolling?
