A few years again a friend started sending me these Thunder Child II videos. I can’t get enough of them! They are constantly modifying and running sea trials. Lot’s of video footage on all of it. I don’t know how many patrol boats they’ve sold but it looks like they have a lot of fun.

    Kinda unique, but I'm underwhelmed.

35 yrs ago I was Ch Engineer on a 115', that was only slightly slower, we topped at 32-34 knts, and cruised all day, comfortably at 28 knts, and all in the latest high end luxury. During my time on board running up and down the East Coast, from DownEast Maine to multiple trips to the Caribbean. We were in a episode of "Miami Vice" and I even have pictures of me water skiing behind her off Cape May, NJ.

So for this thing to run 34 knts, stripped to the bone, and crew stuffed in tiny bunks, blah....
