A little further down the page someone linked a version of the clip set to the Benny Hill theme. I nearly cried laughing... if there was such thing as Hell, I'd have my ticket stamped already.

The fellow I've been working for these past 5 or 6 years just got back from a cruise above Scandinavia where he hit 50 kt. winds on the beam. I just sent him the link. He may not be sleeping so well tonight. FLASHBACK!: eek: :D

It’s the piano you have watch out for!

When I saw the liquid flowing across the floor, I did wonder if that water or something the crew and passengers had produced!

Probably a stupid question, but shouldn't all these things be properly affixed? The movie has a part about what's going on in the storage areas, and looks like pretty much everything up to a whole loader was rolling here and back again all the way... that's no flying chair, what happens if it hits some critical system components?

Listen: some things are just not supposed to happen. Or, conversely, per the coarse colloquialism, 's**t happens'.

There are worse things than furniture that can not be "properly affixed":

We watched the first video clip at work the other day. You may notice a rather large Gentleman shooting across the floor on his butt.

Picture the scene of 4 guys standing around the screen.

    "Fat bloke"

    "Fat bloke again"

    "There he goes again"

    "Ooh, thats gotta hurt"

    "Where's the fat bloke gone?"

See, we do care deep down about our fellow seafarers. :D

When you're inside a cruise ship the owners want you to think you in a hotel or resort, not on a boat. In restaurants (and elsewhere) things have to be moved about. To maintain the illusion things have to be done the same. Seems I've heard about the same thing happening about 4 or 5 times over the last month in the north & south. They might want to concede some of the illusion.

Well, things seem to be moved about quite well indeed. Too bad some passengers are playing furniture aswell.
