I read an interesting article about Future City's and thought about how the Future in Yachting will look like.
    1. Yacht Design
    2. Yacht Marinas
    3. Disposal of Yachts especially plastics glass-fibre ( any recycling ? )
    4. Nature protection plans
    5. Energy saving

Will we go for Villas at sea like Wally " Why " ?
Will the governments charge us every time using national water ways ?

I wait for you thoughts and hope this will be an interesting thread.

Nobody knows how it will look like, but these topics have been discussed in many places since long. Let me guess, in reverse orders:

    5. Energy savings is not the biggest concern, since we have sailing boats, but it has a following to what happens with car engines.

    4. Nature protection is spreading, no wake and no anchor zones a o.

    3. Disposal of yachts, is also becoming a concern, but it is still not a huge problem. GRP is re-used in houses, as ground insulation if I recall right.

    2. Yacht Marinas, yes they are now coming in the Middle and Far East as well. But there will probably always be a shortage.

    1. Yacht Design. :) Talking of shortage!
