I'm new to the Puget Sound boating scene and my just purchased 1994 54' Donzi sport fish arrives in a few days. I'm looking for recommendations for a company or individual to make repairs and upgrades. I need a new windlass, some work on the A/C and heat chiller system, cockpit freezer fixed and general survey items. Can anyone recommend repair folks. The boat will be kept in Tacoma for about a month before heading to Alaska so I was hoping to get everything done before I take it North. Thanks!

Emerald Harbor Marine at Elliot Bay in Seattle, ask for Larry or Dan. I've no affiliation but just like the guys and their work. EHM - 206 285 3632

We take off for Alaska in mid-May from Sidney BC. But we'll be a little slower in our DeFever. Watch for debris, the faster you go the greater the risk of missing something. You may want to consider a red dot bus type heater run off one of the engines. You would not have time for a hydronic furnace install.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

I'll head for Alaska late may. The boat will be kept in Ketchikan. Totally agree on running slower to watch for debris. I'll probably keep it slow at about 18 knots and have no plans to run after daylight ends.
