Switchplate removal

    I'm working some gremlins out of an older FBMY (1990 Johnson Euro Hight Tech) and have run into a stumbling block.

    Anybody recognize these switches and know how to get the switchplates off?

    I've done the normal prying around the edges, but they don't want to readily come off and I'm afraid of breaking them. Looks like somebody has pried on them before also....

    I appreciate any help!

    try snap out the individual switch plate out
    otherwise try to force out the frame with a wide peace of wedged peace of hard plastic

    I think that along the edge of those, you're seeing the base that's attached and the cover that snaps on. Maybe the trick is to separate the pieces at the "crack"? They look similar to the Vimar "NEVE" series like THIS that are constructed that way. Look at 09606 frame on that page.
