Someone asked me today if we had built a model featured in the new Batman movie. Unfortunately we didn't.
There is apperently a large yacht featured in the movie. Has anyone were seen the movie and know what yacht it is?
Anyone know who built the model?

Superman? Or Batman? I saw both... don't recall a yacht it Batman, but one did feature prominently in Superman. It was an expedition style yacht.

    It looked like THIS actually.

Lot's of interesting info about it HERE but no mention of a model builder. I'm thinking probably it was done entirely in CG except for the actual walk-on sets.

    Good find Kevin.
Wow, 300' long..glass floor...Heli pad...and all made of MDF/chip board! Too bad it was't really that easy!
    What do you think Lars?

I think that I would like that pocket size radar! From above the superstructure reminds of Atlantis II and I like the bow better than any axbow. But the helipad has to be remodelled, or all stuff you have on the two decks below will fly away when the heli should land...

Besides this, I wonder why she is called Pelorus 2?

Ah yes, the Gertrude was the name of it. I was also wondering why the file was named that. I saw no connection to this and the Pelorus. In design and anyway else!

So I assume the bow, mid section, and stern each had a separate designer?
