Before heading back down to the Miami Show this morning, I took advantage of calm seas and the rising sun to take pictures of this poor guy who has to move his boat out of Port Everglades each weekend to make room for the cruise ships coming into port. Thought you guys might enjoy watching the Sun Rise with me this morning...

I didn't get the name of the boat, but maybe one of our lurkers will sign up and tell us...

Great pics Carl, thanks. Infact the best I have seen (especially up close) of the 100's taken.:)

So Carl, are you going to pick up a new "toy" at the show?

I'm sorry, but no matter how many times I see Rising Sun, no matter what angle or what view... I just can't like her.

I tend to agree, Kevin. She leaves a lot to be desired in my book. It sure is awful stark also - doesn't look like a boat with much to offer those who want to be outside from what I've seen.

I agree with both Kevin and Billy 1119,

When you look at the competitive rivalry between Paul Allen and Larry Ellison as far as who’s got the bigger toy, Paul Allen wins hands down in this case. Although his Yacht is slightly shorter, Larry really missed the mark on style and so I’m afraid I’ll have to penalize him at least 50 feet for bad taste. Sorry Larry. .

I was just on Lurssen's website and looking at the photos of Rising Sun, is everything hidden below the decks? I see nothing that would make anyone want to go out side and enjoy the views or anything. I agree with Billy1119 that it seems pretty boring or stark. I shouldn't really be talking...I couldn't even afford the flag flying on the back of that thing...
