Suggestions and Opinions on Carver Mariner 28 vs 3297 in years 1988-1994

    Hi,
    What are you opinions on the handling vs space fuel econ between carver mariner 28 ft and the 3297? We had a 28 ft mariner for 8 years but we may have an opportunity to upgrade to larger carver. We like having the flybridge for driving and like the layout where the dinette and salon are near the sliding glass door.

    I would love to hear people's opinions on the 3297 since we don't have any experience with them but are interested in getting one.

    let me ask a slightly different question

    Hi,
    Is there anyone is this forum that owns or has owned as carver 3297?
    If so, what did you like the most and the least?
    If I am shopping for a used 3297 years 88-94, is there anything I should keep a look out for such as an typical defective part of the design or area which is prone to rot etc?
