    Hi,

My names Paul and im 25 yrs old from Sydney, Australia.

Im currently doing my Stcw95 and padi Dive course in preparation for going to Florida in October to land a job on a Mega Yacht. Just wondering if someone can inform me as to what the visa requirements are for an Australian, I also have Canadian and British citizenship if that helps anything.

    Thanks heaps,

    P

    Visas

Most Australians that I know that work on yachts come into the states with a B1/B2 visa. You can also come in on a visa waiver for 90 days if you are flying in commercially but do not try to come into the US via yacht or private plane on a visa waiver. The captain would be looking at a fine and you could be deported. I learned that one the hard way when I brought a British stew in on an existing visa waiver (early in my career). You might want to look at some of the articles discussing imigration at **************. They had a very good article, I believe it was in the May issue, could have been April.

    Good luck. :D
