The stamoid cover for my dinghy has developed some black streaking over the years.

What are people using to clean stamoid ?
Imar sells a stamoid cleaner but at almost $35 for a 12oz spray bottle kinda irks me.

I use simple green to clean stamoid. Wet first, soft brush, rinse after.

Thanks, looks like you're the only person with stamoid, hmm

I can't really say what works, but for me the Stamoid cleaner isn't doing too well at removing the black streaks. I do really like Strataglass cleaner for the Makrolon windows. I hope to hear from others as well.

Yeah that's why I'm asking, the last time I cleaned the dink cover it came out really nice, then 3 months later, not so nice, the cleaner stripped all the polymers out of the stamoid. Reduced it to a yellow piece of garbage.
A little gun shy now, I want someone that uses something regularly to put my mind at ease.
