It's that time of year again,,, we made our annual pre Christmas trip to sunny St.Maarten.

Didn't get out on the water as I had hoped,, the seas were a little big for my cousin's boat. We had a large group of 47 people so my time was limited and never made it over to the marinas to get some nice closeups. And I missed getting over for the show as well. Funny one night I was eating dinner at Pineapple Petes and noticed a large crew eating at the table beside us. So I asked what boat they were on (Solemar) and if they were here for the show,, they didn't even know about it!
Anyhow I don't think you will be disappointed with what I did manage to get.
I missed getting some shots of my favourites, Pelourus and Alpha Nero were docked side by side in Philipsburg and the Falcon was anchored in Simpson bay,, both times I couldn't get away to see them..all in all I still managed to get some nice shots,,
    enjoy.

Funny when we were in Monaco in the fall, Laurel L was anchored right in front of our hotel,,we stopped for lunch in Philipsburg and there she was again,, Leander was at anchor in Philipsburgas well. I only managed to get some shots of the Falcon at sunset in Simpson bay.

Our hotel has a great vantage point on the roof to see what's going on so a couple times of day I would pop up to see who's coming or going in Simpson bay.
If you are into planes and yachts like me than this is heaven. So cool to the jets landing from up there as well.

I think it's just about time to go back to st maarten.

Havent gone in nearly 6 years.......I used to go all the way from Puerto Rico to St. Maarten VERY often. those were very good times. makes me wish I still had some disposable income to make the trip again:(
