    Hi,

With 20 yrs experience as a Captain under your belt how come you never got any further than a USCG Captains License (OUPV)?

Well... i have been having a blast and all kinds of fun with just the simple 6 pak license for many years! Been sort of pleased to say.... loving the work on the vessels i have been operating. Plus being a long time owner/operator of my own personal fishing boats since i was 20yrs old i just never sought the need to change things, even though I had the experience and sea time to do so.

I will mention however, my ticket expires at the end of the year and I will be upgrading to the 100ton master soon- that will feel nice being I have a ton of sea time hours to turn into the USCG! :D
