I have a 1988 4207 Motor Yacht and the aft cabin speakers are blown. Does anyone know how to get the fabric facade off of the wall without breaking it?

Carver likes to use velcro to secure cloth covered panels. Try pulling on a corner of the panel.

Thanks for your help, looking for the velcrow I found that the facade is attached with clips simular to car door panels and the overhead lights must be removed before the facade. Mission accomplished, sounds great now.

    follow question for Jim Jones

Hi Jim, I just picked up a 1987 4207 with very little documentation. Can you help me out with where the indicator for the holding tank monitor might be?

I have owned a 1987 and 1988 and I have never seen a holding tank indicator on either.

    4207 holding tank

So did you add something aftermarket or do you find it pretty easy to simply guesstimate when it's time to empty?

My friend bought a 4207 (I am guessing the same place as you did) and we are in Kemah area also--he redid his sound system and I am sure he can help you.
