Sounds like a privateer built a super-size Estes?

There's a company called Sea Launch that keeps a launch platform in Long Beach. Anyone know where it was last night?

Since everybody seems to have a helicopter on their yachts these days it's getting harder to get ahead of the Jones'. Probably just someone's new toy. Or maybe this falls into the thread of what kind of weapons to have on board. It might stand up to the 50 cal. foredeck toy K1W1 posted.;)

    Red October?

Combine this story about an unidentified “missle” and one from 2007 about a Chinese sub surfacing during some war games and you could have real trouble.

    LA missile launch

I am wondering if anyone was in position to witness the missile launch north of Catalina island on Monday evening?
If so can you give a discription of where it came from sub, ship or shore?

    Thanks, Godzilla
