Software for designing yachts

Hello,

anyone know about good software to draw down some basic, yet somewhat technically precise drawings of yachts? Say I have an idea for a design, and I want to put it into computer designed drawing, but I dont want to care about too much technical details or too advanced software. Is there any suitable software for such sketch-drawings of constructions? I'm kind of not ready to use AutoCAD yet, it's kind of complicated.

It must be possible to draw in 3D, floor plans, exterior and structure in general.

The short answer is "no". The 3D software has an even steeper learning curve than AutoCAD. So if you want to stay simple, figure on working in 2D. Here is another thread that goes into all this -
