Hello, I'm wondering if any of you have done repair/re-work to improve the sliding characteristics of the doors leading from salon to rear deck on a Regal. It's time to take a look at fixing the sliding doors on my 38' Al. Regal. They do not slide easily at all as wear has taken it's toll. I have not removed the doors yet. Wear on the bottom track is pretty obvious. I do not see any rollers at the top and wonder how these are set up. Any advice from one who has done this already would be much appreciated an may help in obtaining proper material before removing the doors. Thanks
Feflon slides for doors Hi: If the doors are like the ones on my 38 Commander sedan they slide in a small piece 0f teflon which is probably gone from your doors. The pieces are small about 1/2 inch wide and maybe 5/8 long and about 1/16th thick. You can order a piece from Mc Carr.Check the doors at the top as they slide on the top only and No rollers are on them either top or bottom.Hope this helps. Bill
