    Hi All,

Just wanted to ask you all if any of you have had any experience with Sessa Marine. It's a builder from Italy and here's their website www.sessamarine.com

I'm interested in a few of their models especially their "Open Line" outboard models.

I was wondering if any of you know of their reputation as a company, build quality, reliability, etc. Basically all the questions you would have if you were looking at buying one of their boats.

Appreciate all your responses and thanks.

    Hi,

I have been interested in Sessa a couple of years since they launched the 52´ model which is very nice, especially the interior. Without any experience but having seen the attention to detail, I would recommend anyone to have a closer look if they also like what they see.

At the Cannes show last month they had the Key Largo 28 and a new S26, both with very well designed interiors, at least to my taste.

My conclusion is that they seems to be going from pretty ordinary designs into a new styling above what you see in smaller boats today.

    Hi AMG,

Thanks for your response and I defintaely agree that they are building boats based on traditional designs but with extra touches to it.

I looked at their website and find the Key Largo 28 and S26 very nice indeed. I personally find the Key Largo 28 very nice with the very good looking cabin forward. Not something you normally find on boats like that.

Do you have more pictures of the Key Largo 28 and S26? I would love to see some more if you have them. Especially of the Key Largo 28 showing the bimini top.

    Thanks once again.

Sorry, no more pictures of Sessa. The Cannes show is becoming really big and I probably missed many boats...

Thanks for those photos Lars. Their Key Largo line caught my eye too. Over here in the US we have nothing that quite compares to that configuration. To bad our exchange rate is poor, otherwise Sessa might be an import opportunity for somebody.

    Thanks AMG.

Been looking at their range of boats and they definately have good lines and their layouts are well thought out.

By the way AMG, did you manage to get onboard the Key Largo 28 while at the show? Hows the forward cabin like? It looks good from the pictures but you can't really tell unless you're standing in it.

    Thanks for the input.

Nope, never got onboard, there were no people at the stand so I didn´t get any brochure either. But I have got their Cruiser Line brochure before and it is one of the best presentations I have ever seen!

So if you don´t have any printed material already, you must ask them to send you a package..

Those of us who never make it to Europe could use a guide book! Do Astondoa, Cayman, Cranchi, Fairline, Oceanus, Salpa, Sealine, and Sessa come in at about the same price level?
