This is my 2nd 56 Ocean Supersport and both have had leaks into the mate's quarter bunk bed. On the 1st Ocean I recaulked windows several times, caulked all the railing bases / screws and pulled the rub rail and caulked--- did not solve it.

having same issue with my 2002 Ocean 56 SuperSport. Anyone have same experience?

Yup, check your rub rails from the the screws to the rail it's self for any gaps , or loose screws/fasteners going into the boat. Did the boat hit any pilings rather hard to your knowledge ? That can open things up to around the rub rails and the hull to deck joint . All of this can leed to water getting into the side/ interior bulk heads etc.

Have you checked the nearest deck hatch?

ended up being the dryer and blower vents. When you tear apart the TV cabinet there is a vent unit that is caulked to the hull for the bathroom fans and dryer. Caulking was bad... same thing on starboard side, but you go through the forward cabin closet to get to.

Always good to have an update, especially when it's a happy ending.
