    Hello All,

A first time poster here. I am looking at 2 Sealine Boats that I believe are manufactured in Britian. The boats are a 1999 Sealine FX36 and a 1997 Sealine Statesman 360. The boats look almost identical in layout, engine configuration which is (2) Cummings Diamond series rated with 330 horse power. I am looking to understand this brand, specifically these 2 models, are there any owners out there with practical advice on what issues to look for when viewing these boats? Common issues amongst the 2 boats? Are they a good hull, ECT. Just trying to make a good buying decision and understand a brand that I don't see very often here in south florida. Mostly going to be used to cruise florida and some island cruises. Crew is a wife and 2 border collies!

    Thanks,

    Stu

Having had a 36 of this vintage listed and subsequently sold, I can comment with some authority.
The boat has a notably smooth ride in a chop--we're talking 2-4 footers here--and an equally notable lack of spray blowing back off her bows.

You will, however, have to find an anorexic Cummins mechanic....take a look between the engines and you'll see what I mean.

    Different models?

Hey Loren thanks for the feedback. Can you comment on the different models, the FX 36 & Statesman 360, they look identical to me?? What are the differences??
