Anyone use or have experience with SeaKey?

I am purchasing a (used) vessel equipped, but not activated.

So I called to get info on activation, etc.

Called their sales number. Got an answering service. (?) Get a call back a couple hours later from a blocked number. Person could answer few questions other than the initial fee and monthly fee. Seemed faily uninterested in "selling" the product.

If the service is anything like the sales force. It's probably pretty worthless.

A lot of boats have come with it in recent years and with an initial trial period. Don't know anybody who has tested the service or who has activated it past the free period.
